According to a statement from EyeQue's corporate vice president of marketing: “We launched our first smartphone-based home refractometer in October 2016 and have announced several award-winning products since then.”

“Now, our next generation has been completely revamped to make the faster and easier tests".

She also says that the app was developed for two years, based on feedback from members, through almost 150 thousand tests carried out with this new technology.
