A group created managed to rob a company from the Casa da Species in Mexico and managed to extract more than 1,5 gold coins. The attack took place this Tuesday (06) and the pieces are valued at around R$10 million.

According to the newspaper El País, there were four thieves and they broke into the company on a boulevard in the center of the capital around lunchtime.

First, they immobilized the only guard who was present at the scene and then went to the cashier, where they were able to crush their backpacks, taking 1.567 gold coins. These coins were known as 'centenarians'.

The action lasted around 3 minutes and due to the criminals' readiness, by the time the police arrived at the scene they had already left. Through the images from the security cameras, it was possible to examine the readiness with which the group acted.

Jesús Orta, Security Assistant at the Municipality of Mexico, gave a statement shortly after the diversion and was astonished at the ease with which the criminals reached the cashier and took all the coins, leaving the place afterwards without having to put up any type of resistance. The police are investigating the case and all personnel, in addition to the guards, are being questioned.

Last year, this same Casa da Espécie company was robbed, when a group of thieves took advantage of the fact that the place was being renovated, they managed to steal around R$600 in silver and gold coins.

This time the attack was compared to the series La Casa de Papel, in which a group makes a very well-planned detour and can cause an approximately unstable adventure, deceiving the authorities.
