Cancer is a boring disease that ravages the club. The data is worrying: according to data from INCA (National Cancer Institute), in 2018, more than 580 thousand cases of the disease were discovered, in Brazil alone.

In the municipality of Londrina, located in the state of Paraná, a circumstance has resulted that means waiting for people in this complicated situation. A woman, Margarete Mormul, with brain cancer, unable to pay for her treatment, raffled off the only asset she owned: her car.

The car that was raffled off was a 2009 Voyage, manufactured by the German company Volkswagen. The value of each draw was R$20. Margarete used the vehicle to earn money, working as an Uber driver, which was her only source of income and, as she needed the money and had no other immediate means of winning the jewel , was forced to raffle it.

What was surprising was that the winner of the draw did not accept the prize. He returned the car to the woman, refusing to keep it.

The video is moving. The owner, named Célio, is a locksmith and apparently quite simple and mediocre. His simulation won several compliments on social media, as a sincere display of emotional and aesthetic understanding and support.

Margarete's cancer tumors were discovered almost 2 months ago. According to her, the illness was already harming her fiction. Attitudes in this way, like Célio's, convey hope that there are also good individuals nearby, who care about others and are therefore willing to help – even if this means 'taking possession' of a car.
