Since its last update, the WhatsApp app has introduced a feature to turn an audio message into text, helping users when it is not possible to listen to audio.

The steps to follow were created using an iPhone 12, with iOS 16.4.1., so make adjustments to your device if necessary.

1. Open the WhatsApp app;
2. Access the application settings;
3. Tap the “Conversations” option;
4. Search, by scrolling the screen, for the “Voice message transcription” option;
5. Activate the feature by moving the switch to the right, which will turn it green;
6. To deactivate, just move the switch to the left.

After following these steps, go to your application's home screen and access a conversation to check if the feature is working correctly.

For those who do not find the function available in the app, they can check the app store to see if there are any updates to be made.

Another new feature of the app

We will have another new feature brought by the WhatsApp application soon, according to the WAVetaInfo website.

The app will have a new look for the Android system, making it similar to the look of the app on the iOS system.

Therefore, they are developing a new menu for the application, more modern, with a minimalist style.

There is no date for this look to be released, but certainly, as always, it should appear first in the Beta, which is the test version.
