The kidnapper William Imponente da Silva became an explanation throughout Brazil this Tuesday (20). He hijacked a bus on the Rio-Niterói Connection and was indifferent by a sniper from the Special Things Corps (BOPE).

The seizure began around 5:30 am and quickly began to be mentioned on social media and TV programs. And one detail caught our attention in William Imponente’s performance.

The 20-year-old kidnapper wore a fake skull identical to the one used by shooter Guilherme Taucci, who invaded a state academy in the municipality of Suzano, in São Paulo, in March, and shot at students and teachers in one of the greatest tragedies already registered in Brazil.

In Rio, William took 37 individuals hostage on bus 2520, which runs from Jardim Alcântara, in Niterói, to Estácio, in the center of Rio de Janeiro. The intercity vehicle is from the company Tumor Branco.

Before being indifferent by a sniper, positioned on top of a Fire Department truck, the kidnapper released six individuals. The rest remained in their quantity.

After 3 hours of apprehension, a sniper shot at William a few times. The kidnapper was rescued, but he did not survive his injuries. He suffered cardiorespiratory throat in the hospital and was absent.

Family members of the kidnapper would have apologized to the victims for being rescued. Director Wilson Witzel even attended with William's mother. She is quite shaken by the help and trying to supervise what she made a mistake in the boy's pedagogy.
